2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that can be stored on your computer or other Internet-enabled devices such as a tablet or smartphone when you visit a website. When you revisit the website at a later time, this cookie is sent to the website again. In this way, the website recognizes your browser.
The Belgian Electronic Communications Act contains certain provisions regarding cookies and their use on websites. This Belgian law is a transposition of the European e-Privacy Directive, which means that the cookie legislation can be applied differently in the other European Member States.
Heave is based in Belgium and therefore follows the Belgian legislation on cookies.
