Bestellingen kwamen binnen via mail, telefoon en papier. Chauffeurs reden met handgeschreven lijsten, noteerden nieuwe bestellingen onderweg en aan het einde van de dag moest alles nog eens manueel worden verwerkt. Fouten waren onvermijdelijk. Heave bracht onze volledige operationele keten in één systeem. Iedereen werkt nu vanuit hetzelfde overzicht. Chauffeurs werken op een tablet: ze zien hun route, verrekenen betalingen ter plaatse en alles wordt meteen verwerkt. De keuken heeft altijd een up-to-date overzicht van wat gekookt moet worden. Fouten zijn zeldzaam geworden en elke week winnen we uren terug op administratie. Wat ik het meest waardeer: er werd niet gezocht naar een standaardoplossing die 'dicht genoeg' zat. Heave heeft de tijd genomen om te begrijpen hoe wij écht werken, en dat zie je terug in het resultaat.
